My apology for neglecting to blog for a while--distracted by my busy life as usual. Well, finally, I am compelled to start again.
Come to think of it, this week seems like a really good time to start many things again. Restarting these blogs so my friends can keep up with me is one, and on Tuesday night I went to meditation for the first time after a long absence. ...among others....
Bravo to new beginnings.
Also today I found this very nice story on the net:
Former heavyweight boxing champ Muhammad Ali visited the ruins of the World Trade Center. When reporters asked how he felt about the suspects sharing his Islamic faith, Ali responded pleasantly, "How do you feel about Hitler sharing yours?"
I make no claim in authenticating this quote. In fact, my suspicion is that the extent of his brain injury probably do not allow for this kind of quick wit. But of course I could be wrong. In any case, regardless of whom the quote is attributed, I couldn't agree with it more.
