Perhaps I was on to something?

Just perhaps? Remember what I said about Doug Psaltis joining The French Laundry a few months ago? Apparently I might have been on to something, as he left the restaurant about a month ago, merely a few months after joining.

A curiouser development on top of a curious development. Reports are that he is to have his own kitchen soon in the New York area, so perhaps everything is turning out well for all parties involved. I certainly wish them all well indeed.
