Wow. What presence! Lucky you to have a kitty of your own, they're such fun! There are already 4 cats on the property I live on, and none my own, so they've adopted me as their aunty. They come by my cottage to visit me and say hello to me when I come home by meowing a very distinctive greeting. They make me feel so special!
Supper for D. Patterson's dog? How are you going to prepare it? Don't use tongs whilst sauteeing and resist urge to splash with truffle oil, puhleeeease.
I bet you she's going to be long-haired with furry feet and a plush tail. From the big round paws, sturdy little legs and fuzzy ear tips, there seems to be a lot of Maine Coon in her.
yes, another comment starting with, "ooooooo". All of your photographs are beautiful, but this is the first that motivated me to post. Please do share his/her name, and every detail.
i woke up today thinking that pim's kitten needs a play pal. kittens are great, but its an entirely different kind of joy to watch a couple of them play, tussle and chase each other. also, they'd appreciate the company! does this one have a sibling? or maybe a ginger or a calico kitty needs a home?
Oh, Pim, congrats on the new kitten! S/he is so adorable--and reminds me of our last kitten, Tatterdemalion, who started out as a little black puffball like yours. Now, she is a smallish cat with short legs, round paws, a lionish face with a big ruff and the best plume of a long tail.
Thank you everyone. She is really one little cutey. I miss her so much and I've only been gone a day!
Her name is Ella. We didn't go looking for her, she came and found us! Her mom is feral, and she had a litter next to our house. My neighbours and I rescued the litter. There are three of them, and we kept Ella. We'd been talking about rescuing a new cat from the pound since our Camilla died last year, but have been too occupied to have done that. Until Ella found us.
The timing is a little incovenient, since we've got this trip to Spain planned for a while. David is speaking at the conference and I'm writing about it for something.
I'm trying not to worry or miss her so much. She's got aunt Beccy and Davoe taking care of her, and her two siblings Buddy and Misses to play with while I'm gone.
Oh my super qt! (Good people like food, wein and cats)
Since you are in to wine here is link I think you should look up http://wine-cordis.blogspot.com/
Glad to see you got a new kitty! Getting a new cute little beast was the best thing I did after I lost my 2 old guys...
she's sitting right next to me at the moment! I look forward to hearing about Ella's exploits! (as well as your's of course!) :)
I'm not usually a sucker for cute, but this was such a surprise when the page loaded I couldn't help but say, oh, too sweet. Does s/he have a name?

You should be ashamed of yourself for posting this. A grown ass man like me isn't supposed to be "awwww"ing over kitten photos.
